Im Writing My Story
I don't know about you, but when I hear a good story that stays with me, it's not the events and characters that hold me, it's the color - the feelings they create and the way I see it all in my mind. And my own creative process is all about that.
From my original travel stories (with photographs) in Stories From The Road (2020-2025), to my new series, Nostalgia Fix (2026), I pull stories from the moments in between the actions; The timeless beats where the afternoon light mixes with the summer dust, reminding me of days from another lifetime. That moment when someone's about to speak, but then doesn't, and it leaves you wondering what they were going to say, and if it was what you were hoping to hear. The seconds in between what people notice, that catch me off guard and refuse to let go of me until I have committed them to a medium.
My creative writing now spans humor and nostalgia (Stories From The Schoolyard, Nostalgia Fix), poetry (Dirty Pages and My Tumblr Collection), and fiction (Lost Iron - coming soon).

Coming Soon

Lost Iron, the story of a drifter, gives you a passenger seat next to a wandering jack-of-all-trades, as he travels by dune buggy across wild lands, towns and cities, in search of work and the meaning of life. A point-of-view tale of loneliness, bravado, and humility.
If you'd like to hire me to write or consult for your creative project, I can help you develop book and film storylines, characters and themes, and offer ghost writing and proof reading services, too. I typically work in the CET timezone but can work up to five hours either side for ongoing projects (Toronto/Bogotá - Omsk/Maldives).
Substack links are temporary. The full collections, consisting of over 400 publications, will be available again in the near future (I'm just sorting out some technical stuff first).
